Buckeye Police Department has created a page dedicated to detailing their investigative efforts to find Daniel Robinson. This is a great resource and model example of how an agency can be transparent with their investigations with the community.
So much so that they have released the missing person report on that page. Great job BPD!

I don’t believe this information is public but I do know law enforcement is familiar with the circumstances.
On a related note, I’m making this post from Buckeye, AZ and had a chance to scout out the area Daniel’s car was found yesterday.
It was very insightful to see the area in person and process more of the fact patterns of the case.
Yea his father was definitely saying its different seeing it in person than in photos. Is there anything there that maybe stood out?
I think my major observations were of the elevations being how like the father described and they don’t translate in pictures. Walking it in person really gives you a feel for things as I was actively sliding going up and down areas around there that look relatively flat in pictures.
After experiencing the environment first hand, it really makes it feel like Daniel would be close. There are a lot of cases resulting from accidents that include paradoxical undressing and terminal burrowing. This isn’t law enforcement making excuses, these are actual things that are frequently seen in missing person/accident scenes that haven’t been thoroughly researched. The circumstances mimic hypothermia and would make for a great research project.
The theory is that could sustaining a head injury and damage to the hypothalamus keep one from being able to regulate body temperature and display the paradoxical undressing and terminal burrowing that we seen in hypothermia cases?
You have airbag deployment, a rolled over vehicle, multiple attempts to start the vehicle from a seat belted driver and then you have the shedding of clothes near the vehicle. If the accident occurred around 10am, the temperatures were in the 80s but had a high that day of over 100. I was wanting to understand the area and learn about places that could support a terminal burrowing effect and couldn’t find any. The closest thing that I could see in the area would be the base of the larger trees in the area that cast decent shade.
I’m not familiar with the “well” area the father described but I would be curious how close it was to the vehicle recovery site.

The reports said the well was located approximately half a mile north of where Daniel was last seen and nothing was found. It also looks like they released the 120 page report to the public if anyone is interested in it.
Found an article with new information that someone else was in the apartment and was able to access his computer. I only know of 2 people that said they went to the apartment but couldn’t get in. Do we know if any neighbors or friends saying anything else?

PHYSICALLY SEARCHED THE INTERIOR AND FOUND NO SIGNS OF DANIEL.
MINE SHAFT 2 IS LOCATED AT 33.575298,-112.730252. THIS IS A VERTICAL SHAFT
ENCASED IN CONCRETE AND WITH WOOD BEAMS LOOSELY COVERING THE OPENING. DETECTIVES
UTILIZED A SMALL RADIO CONTROLLED ROBOT WITH CAMERAS AND LIGHTS. LOWERED BY A
ROPE, DETECTIVES WERE ABLE TO CHECK DOWN TO 76 FEET WHERE THERE WAS STANDING
WATER. ABOUT HALFWAY UP THE SHAFT WAS A HORIZONTAL SHAFT. NO SIGNS OF DANIEL
WERE LOCATED IN THE SHAFT.
Great intel! I added the mineshafts to the points of interest map to this case to visualize them.
Mineshaft #2 is a vertical shaft and was cleared only down until the standing water. I wonder how deep the standing water was. It sounds like the water was not able to be cleared and if Daniel climbed into hole in a frantic state, he could have fallen the 76ft and be in the water.
Mineshaft #2 is only ~0.61 miles from the vehicle crash location. This is should be revisited and the water cleared! We need to find a team with a submersible robot that can go down that deep.
I have read all of the police report. There was a text to his sister at 4:21pm on June 22nd that said “It’s an emergency!” after calling her. She received no response to her text back.
His google searches included:

-Can you break lease before it renews

-delete instagram account
-shooting Tempe
-Love is something you can’t explain
-Explosion
-I’m okay to do things I hate
I did notice his apt. lady’s name was Avana Tempe
According to his friend Roger during their conversation he said “Well I have to get rid of my story”
Law Enforcement has investigated and looked into these circumstances
So much good things in the police report. I think we need to build out those details in the timeline for this case, things like those text messages.
Those are the kinds of things that are common in missing person cases and contribute to the “noise”. We definitely don’t want to be the place to collect rumors and unconfirmed intelligence. Those types of leads are for law enforcement to follow up on , which we know they have in this case.
From a public forum perspective, we want to stay focused on organized what the facts are. This should work in a complimentary fashion to law enforcement who is very active on this case.

Cadaver dog searched a bush at 33.5810795, -112.7353484
Well Site 2: 33.584097, -112.702913
Site is capped but lid is removable. Drilling equipment remnants were found. Roughly 19" in diameter.
Paradoxical effect is understandable in Arizona’s desert environment after an accident. But, I keep thinking about how his co worker and others close to him where saying he was acting off before the crash. Have they checked Daniels medical records? Was there anything other than being born with a missing hand that could be a factor? Any medication he could have been taking that might have aided in the heat and paradoxical effect after a car accident? Is there any update on mineshaft #2 being able to get drained completely out? No clothes in this Arizona heat is mean on the skin plus little to no shade or water, I don’t believe he could have gone far especially if he had a major head injury after the crash. The mineshaft would be a source of water.
I think they should try and do a FBI search
