I grew up around true crime shows like Americas most wanted, unsolved mysteries, first 48 and gotten into the podcasts world as an adult. Also experienced a personal true crime as an adolescent involving a family friend and his girlfriend who we later found out, it wasn’t the family friend she was fond of but the material things of the family friend. She either got out or passed in prison last year; inmate 196489 in AZ. It has not been confirmed if she was a black widow or not but she did have an accomplice who they did not pursue to this day I don’t know why!!!. The investigators never questioned us even though we where just one field up from their property and I seen the truck they drove around in drive by my window of the area I was sleeping that night!. In the truck, I noticed inmate 196489 as the driver of the truck that night, the family friend in the middle seat and the accomplice in the passenger seat. The dome light was on in the truck and from what I can remember the family friend looked to be asleep as they drove by. At first the suspect and accompless tried to chuck it as a suicide. THEY LITERALLY CAME TO OUR PLACE THE MORNING AFTER I SEEN THEM DRIVE BY TO TELL US HE COMMITTED SUICIDE!!! There was a few things wrong with that. One, the gun was found on the family friends chest, two the way they reported it made it seem as the the family friend just committed suicide moments before calling…but the family friend was cold. Law inforcment ended up realizing that his death was not a matter of suicide but of murder. The family friend stood up for me at times when my step figure would get drunk and obnoxious. He was very interesting to listen to when he would start talking about life as he knew it when he was younger. Probably another reason his last days seemed to still be in the back of my mind. Especially after loosing my mom in 2018. That big loss seemed to have taken me back to memory lane. Her death…to me, is suspicious also. Idk how to tackle that just yet as I feel my hands are tied when it comes to Arizona POA marriage laws. Back to family friend experience. Even though they apprehened the main suspect, charges were filed, the family of the friend was able to take care of his remains; when you see and experience something like that at a young age, it sticks with you. I think that’s why I’ve always been interested in true crime. I found this site while listening to a podcast. I don’t mind trying to help were ever I can. Last but not least I am new on here obviously lol, and I am trying to navigate the format of this website so please forgive me while I navigate and become more familiar with how to do things accordingly.
