Great, thank you! I’ve added it to the gallery for this case.
This appears to possibly be a person either that she knew or had been watching / stalking her for long enough to know that she makes her own wares (boots). The article indicated one boot was missing which could suggest the possibility that the other had been taken by the killer as a trophy because it’s something significant to the victim being handmade by her directly. The clothes being thrown down next to her could either suggest that the killer may have forced her to exit a vehicle prior to shooting her, or that the killer shot her then positioned her the way he wanted her displayed. Everything about this murder suggests that it was predetermined, and that the killer was organized. Trophies like personal items that are missing and the fact she was nude with only one of those boots on with brown socks she was always reported to wear suggests the possibility of this murder being sexually motivated by someone who might have an overwhelming fantasy life that builds a compulsion that can’t be resisted over time. Did she sell any crafts she would make? Where was she employed? Where might this killer have met or seen her prior to this incident? All good questions I suppose but a case this old most likely has little info to go on.
