24 times is extreme!!! Some podcasts I listen to brings out forensic psychology aspect of things. One point they bring out is patterns of rage and patterns of random events.
Linda seemed to have put up a fight at first from what I have read.
Being a US Navy veteran could be a clue. Maybe past enemies or differences of some sort. I will be blunt on this point, some true crime cases do shine light on females and inequality in military service.
Personally I feel there is no proof of robbery because that might not have been the suspects goal with how extreme the findings were. And if one was “caught” in the act… There might have been evidence suggesting so. Example - the object or objects being dropped or signs of attempt in trying to get into something. Disheveled paper or a particular area being unusually disturbed.
