Codie Eliabeth Novack Miss | Ocala Florida

As an update to the case; The only thing changing is the number of records and/or incidents; due to the actions and behaviors of the individual(s) involved. There have been more victim(s) and/or death(s)!!

Marion County Florida Sheriff’s is steadfast in not completing an investigation into this case…They have also refused to confer any information or evidence; We continue gathering the evidence !!

The Florida medical examiner (through her attorney) refused to meet with the family.

However, the family continues the search for any additional witnesses, further evidence, information, assistance, resources for record reviews, and the right official(s) to assist with having the case reopened for a full investigation!!

It is a public safety issue for the unsuspecting people, and our children in any community to be continuously harmed by anyone with another person’s actions and behaviors of domestic violence; fear, stalking, and abuse !!!

I need to know when Louis’s mother died. From the fire or whatever happened there in CT. If you say November 14th 2024, we really need to leave this one alone. I saw an obituary for a Catherine “Kate” Latorre on November 14th 2024 and I really hope I got the wrong person. But this was also Cheshire CT. I’ll link the Obit for you to confirm but there’s information in her obituary that only I have and if this was in fact his mother, there is fact a ton of political corruption that Codie got caught in the middle of and there really isn’t anything anyone can do about it. If you confirm this is the right person, I’ll explain more but I don’t want to share anything if I don’t need to. You’re a lot safer not knowing.

I found another. Connected to the same family in 2018

Yes, Catherine is Louis’s Mother, as per reports and investigation the house fire was in October… and reports stated she died after… Dorothy is the grandmother.

On March, 18.2025, (separate incident) the Florida Swat team also went to the residence (the location where Codie was recovered deceased) served a warrant, and arrested two of the four individuals that were inside on drug and/or trafficking charges.

I sense Louis considers himself to be inferior; nothing can touch him… He blames others for his reactions… He might have met others within the same residence with a similar complex… While others around each of these individuals may fear coming forward to say what has happened to them, or as a witness…

It definitely was not MCSO’s best investigation by far… However, we need them more than ever right now in getting Justice for Codie, those who have been inflicted, and to protect further unsuspecting individual (s) and/or families in the communities. I have learned the original Detective assigned to this case has been promoted. I agree it looks ludicrous that a body was found, no next of kin notification, and no investigation!!. Especially in an area which officials were aware of, and has indeed come up currently and several times over the years as a problem. However, as we have been instructed, we need MCSO to do their job, investigate, gather evidence and have the case forwarded to the next level to be prosecuted.

It is not just an opinion, there is evidence that MCSO was horrendous with the initial predisposition, incentive, and lack of investigation when finding the body. I have also seen numerous comments mentioning cases in Marion County, Florida, where MCSO failed, including missing, murdered, and investigations over multiple years. There’s a different place and time for that. We need to make sure we stay focused on the one thing: that is, that anyone responsible for things involving Codies’ incident is held accountable. Not just filing an incident report to sit in a computer!!

MCSO, in fact, did send the family a certified letter stating, the department did not do their due diligence or work tirelessly now that they actually have a body, confirmed information, or have received factual data for an investigation!!. It stated it is a closed death case, no investigation!!

It is not just one incident or event… All the incidents involving these individuals have left many more people, families, and communities at risk!!
