I think the where and the who in this case are pretty definitive. But the “Why did it happen, and why did it happen that way” questions are still is the big mystery.

I was looking at different articles on this case and found this “probable cause in the case included that Carr was once convicted of an aggravated assault that bore similarities to Brittany’s murder”

We will get a conviction in this case no doubt about it. Chad maybe got jealous of the relationship and hit out. It is just a matter of time before we get a conviction.

Grand jury chooses not to indict man arrested in 15-year-old East Texas cold case murder

one thing always stood out to me is the one time she decided in advance not to go home after the night shift. As far as Carr, the only way he could’ve gotten no billed was is if other unknown DNA samples present. I definitely agree Carr’s assaults on women seem patternish at very least, what he did to his ex-wife and the other lady he knew was in her trailer alone, the people get hit in the head/assaulted. He knew that day BM would be alone when everyone else left. I believe Jeff would’ve convinced her to go to his house after work instead of going home, probably wake at 5ish to cuddle. I don’t know why he wanted her to stay there if he was gonna be gone all day to Dalas, why did he need Brittnie at his house after Lowe’s? We know going to his house was planned in advance like she told her mom.. I see Carr driver license is in a McKinney area apartment. I see Stogner had a child with Emily that died and lives in SS, iDK, but it looks like, Maybe Stogner , later in life, lost his daughter because of what he did to BM? I don’t have any details how one of their babies may have died but I saw his name in an obituary for his apparent daughter and I thought Karma ? Who was the “family across the street from Stogner” prior to their death ? Was it a grandpa ? Heard of it vaguely. Also , why couldn’t they narrow the timeframe down some , 8-3 ? Dumb, then shipped body to funeral home then to Dallas for autopsy, then in reality, Dallas county probably overloaded and body sat for some time and lost some dna opportunities. I don’t know who did it. It’s not for me to judge. I don’t even use my real name to post on here, but the whole thing really upsets me and intrigues me and I hate it that someone’s out there walking around. I always had one other question to how are they sure that she was sexually assaulted instead of consensual sexual interaction with boyfriend when she got to her boyfriend‘s house after 5 AM you know , and then let’s say Stogner‘s telling the truth, which I doubt, but if he was and he left that would explain some of it, but yeah, I totally don’t get that- if I was her, I wouldn’t have stayed there asleep by myself -and if I was him, I wouldn’t have left her there asleep by herself, you know -and then how long did they live in this house after this brutal rape and murder? I would need to never sleep there again!

And the Stogner‘s disrupted the funeral service so I don’t know. I’m not sure if Carr or Stogner did it I don’t think there’s a third-party. I think it was definitely one ir more of those people who saw her that day. I saw where Carr made a post on the Facebook and denied all allegations. I understand he didn’t pass a polygraph, but really the polygraphs aren’t worth a crap anyway. It sounds like the people that handled the scene and the body afterwards were just complete dumbasses.

I can understand what you are saying but to me it does seem odd that they would come in the home and leave her there. To me it seems like maybe a message to the boyfriend or something. I am not sure if they dug into maybe possible people that were upset at Strogner at the time or the family.

I did find this post from the family about the investigation if it helps clear up any questions or confusion.
