Is anyone looking into this case? Police have said multiple times Stacey knew her attacker and willingly let him into her apartment.****4 What do you think about the actions of her new “friend” who attended Ohio State from 1993 - 1997?
Since we can’t say his name, we will call him Richard, Dick for short. We don’t know how she met Dick, just that it was after the end of her Summit Street campus apartment lease, August 31, 1997.
1) Around November 30, 1997 Dick AND Stacey's sister move Stacey from her Strawberry Farms (Westerville, Ohio) sublet into her Governours Square Apartment*1
2) In January 1998, two months before her disappearance, Stacey told a friend Dick aggressively confronted her, saying his friends keep asking him when she is going to have sex with him, asking her what the problem was and why they hadn't. It made her very upset and wanted to stop seeing him at the time.**2
3) In the days after he disappearance, before anything about her disappearance is made public and 115 days after spending the day moving with Stacey's sister, Dick refuses to her calls about where Stacey might be. He has his roommates tell her to stop bothering him.*1
4) In the days after Stacey's disappearance, there was a huge search effort run out of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority house. We can neither confirm nor deny Dick helped out in the search efforts, but can confirm his name is not on the volunteer sign-up sheet in the sorority house where supplies were distributed and search grids were assigned.*1, ****4
5) Sometime in the 25 days after Stacey was last heard horrifyingly screaming, we believe Dick is one of the associates who retained an attorney, refused polygraph and to this day still refuses to cooperate with police.***3
