The contents provided above are incorrect, my partner Marie Valentine, and I have been doing some digging on this case, and the location provided above for where the bodies were found is incorrect; however we have visited a nearby area in which the bodies were found with the description of 5th St and Oak Glen Rd, in Yucaipa CA. Additionally, OUR (informal) estimated coordinates of the graves is the following: 34°02’39.87"N 117°03’19.48"W. Skip and Joni Tillman were in a count of 3 lawsuits around the time of their deaths 2 involving Harold (Skip) Tillman and 1 with regards to Joni Tillman. Both of the legal disputes on behalf of Skip involved embezzlement and check fraud. Joni Tillman and her half brother, Craig Elliott were in a legal dispute regarding who will receive their father’s estate after Ray Elliott’s passing; in March 2000, investigators cleared Joni’s half brother Craig Elliott of the murders. Strangely, in Joni’s testimony she claimed that half brother Craig Elliott had a falling out with their father and had been written out of the will, Joni also claims that Craig Elliott did not speak to his parents even after Skip Tillman informed Craig that his mother Jackie had a massive stroke. Shortly after Jackie (Craig’s Mother) passed away in October 1995, Craig Elliott attended the retirement home where father (Ray Elliott) was housed, and proceeded to scream at him that he (Ray Elliott) was supposed to die first, in hopes that if his father died first, his mother would write him back into the will. Hence the confusion of why Joni’s half brother, Craig Elliott was cleared of the murders. Could there have been possible retaliation?
