it made me wonder does anyone know if anyone else knew of the spot he was heading too? Or if the store and pizza place where there at the time? Could he bumped into someone at one of these places?
I also noticed another case of Jeffery askren in 1984 in the same location on the same road with his car just left there with him nowhere to be found.

Very interesting. These are the kind of relations that we hoped the map view would show. While their proximity is close, the cases are 7 years apart. That might be a common well traveled road into the community.
It definitely highlights how important it is to see these cases on map to visualize them in relation to each other. The more cases we can add to the database, the more value will come from this kind of analysis.
