Was she manually strangulated? Was there anything located around her that ould have been use for strangulation?
Was it ever confirmed that she was sexually assaulted? Was any evidence collected at the time that can be used for DNA? Clothing available?
Is it possible she was lured to the house?
What about all her classmates/neighborhood kids at the time? ( same age or a little older) that she may have been known to hang out with.
It stated Mamies body wasn’t found until 2-3 days afterwards. It would help a little to know if the poor baby was murdered there, or was dumped there. I ask because if she was attacked in public, then she was forcefully lured into the abandoned building or she was snatched by someone laying low, or hiding out in the building already.
But if it was a “dumped” situation, she was snatched and kidnapped, then killed somewhere else. Back in the early 80’s there was serious child trafficking ring circulating the city back then.

During his cooperation with police in 2005, Lawson named Ted Lamborgine as a fellow member of the pedophile ring.
These are just two of the men, Detroit should compare DNA and other resources back to on these convicts. If they still have her semen slab results, and other DNA from her body, they can still test it if it’s not corrupted or destroyed in any kind of way from time. Then all they have to do is run it through CODIS. If this individual was never caught, then they can always utilize DNA Reverse Genealogy (that’s my specialty), they will DEFINITELY find the killer then.
