I did some more research on this case and I found somethings that might be helpful.
Veronica Seals did a radio show on Jacob Riggs and someone else missing in Sweet Home. She has been continuously collect any information that someone has to offer. I believe I read that she had a text message from Jacob to someone else and read it out loud. I believe this is the link for that show.

Kayla Smith has more information on the case and looks like she had been ignored or not taken seriously by police unfortunately. She did say that she is still willing to talk and share the information she has.
Bayli Riggs is his cousin and she has been looking for answers to many questions and has tried to share as much as she could also.
Lacey Riggs is the mother of his kids and they lived together. States that his mother did the funeral without his children present. She also claims that the family has been sweeping it under the rug.
Stephen Pennington is also continuously working on the case with several others. He claimed that Jacob’s parents have deleted his Facebook or any other online existence he may have had. He also stated that someone named Rebecca was texted by Jacob about a fight with his dad just before and that the mother was stating their was suicide texts but the girl states that wasn’t true.
