Does anyone know the location of the lake house Mr. Roland owned that he started his day from on July 21, 1997?
I’m not sure the exact address but it was located in the Eagle View Neighborhood in Broaddus, TX. My grandparents lived a few houses down from him in the same neighborhood.

This case gives very little information to go from. Does anyone know family members, spouse, parents, work relations, etc. ? Do we have facts that he actually went to Powell Park and if so, day before or day of? What was used to sink the boat? Did he stay at lake house that trip or was it just a fact, but not pertinent to the timeline?
I am not a detective by any means , however theres a few things that jump out at me after reviewing the timeline of events and comparing them with the map . This screams multiple assailant!!! I have a theroy id like to share and maybe im way off base but here it is … Witnesses claim he was going fishing that monday . Who are the witnesses we dont know … but he had to have had an altercation with a group of individuals either on the water or at the marina. Something horrific happened obviously. Its my belief that after the altercation, one or more individuals took his truck and trailer from the marina and met another assailant at the dump location of the boat … After looking at satellite images of the area where the boat was located, it looks very specific , not just some random spot … one can only conclude that the individuals who committed this crime knew the lake and its roads very well …Im not sure what that area looked like in 1997 but if you look to the east of where they found the boat there is a secluded field with a road running through it all the way to the water . It is my theroy that thats where the assailants met up and attemped to destroy / sink the boat , and that the boat drifted to where it eventually ended up. I further believe that they then headed to dump the trailer and eventually the truck at its final locations … With that said Mr Roland’s remains havent been discovered and i have a few questions in reguards to some missing details . Did investigators check to see how much fuel was in the boat upon discovery if so how much ? Was an anchor loacted on the boat ? I ask this because i am almost certain that they had divers searching for him , more than likely in the slew where they found the boat and obviously turned up nothing . Did they check the waters off the coast between the marina and the boats final location? Did they search that field and forest area to the east of where they found the boat ? And did they do a grid search in the area of the truck ? I have a hunch that Mr Roland isnt in the water but is in fact on land either close to where they discovered the boat or close to the truck … i have no proof to this just a hunch based off of what i can see . I look forward to more discussion about this , and even more so that investigators find and bring Mr Roland home to his family !!!
How long after the death of the victim did the wife get remarried? Did the wife keep all his belongings, or did she dispose of everything?
Interesting facts that jump out to me are fourfold: a) a witness told them he was going fishing, but is not named. Did his wife know that he was going fishing? Not stated, only that she reported him missing the next morning. b) the vehicle was dumpted heading northbound on 69 outside of Hunington, showing me that the perps were familiar with that area and heading home in that direction, c) his position as vice president of a construction company, were there any employees that were fired or had a beef with him in the construction business? he might have been followed from Lufkin and they returned home without his truck. d) did the bullet holes in the boat pontoons match that of the gun that was left in the burned vehicle? if so, whose gun was found in the vehicle? was it one that Mr. Rowland owns.
These are just a few things that jump to my mind after an initial review of the information. I will continue to review more of the information.

Around the time of his Bill’s disappearance they were working on a new bus stop and installing concrete around one of the schools in Zavala.
There was a guy named Jarrod “Heath” Choate that was potentially having an affair with Bill Rolands wife.
Heath Choate passed away in 2017 from a suicide, but the rumor is that he (Heath Choate) was working on the bus stop for one of the Zavala schools at around of the disappearance of Bill Roland and Heath was working on that Zavala bus stop so his remains might be buried under the concrete there.
Heath Choate shot himself with a .22 caliber gun, but he had a 9mm available to him in the truck and I don’t think they have ever found the .22 that they say was used. You may want to see if you can find any connections with that.

This is an incredibly dangerous case though - Heath was heavily involved with the Free Masons and someone got sniped that was may have had more information just as a warning. This could go pretty deep and get dangerous unfortunately.
The way they burned out his truck was by filling balloons with Acetylene and exploding it in the cab of the truck which caused the damage.
I have been looking at this case for a while now and this is some interesting stuff I have never heard before. What else can you tell me regarding the case?
