From what I’ve read and seen, it’s clear that not much detail was put into investigating Samuel Goldberg. The fact that Ellen’s death was initially ruled a homicide and then controversially changed to a suicide is bullshit. If someone wanted to end their own life, it’s hard to imagine they’d have the time or ability to stab themselves 20 times. That just doesn’t add up. Goldberg claims he was at the gym during the incident, but was there any surveillance footage to confirm his alibi? Did anyone verify his presence there? The nature of the homicide suggests it was driven by rage or anger, not premeditated. If it wasn’t planned, it seems like the killer was rushing. But why Ellen? Did she have any unresolved conflicts, grudges, or enemies, perhaps an ex, a friend, or someone else?
