This young woman had 20 stab wounds, a number in back of head and neck and get ruled a suicide? Noone except family thinks this is odd? Noone thinks this is a coverup in the making? I pray someone of power comes to their senses. The PD really is absolutely stupid or covering something up.

It isnt suicide. It would be physically impossible to stab herself in the back. The escessive stab wounds would point more towards overkill. If it was truly suicide you would think she would simply slit her left wrist. Of course suicide is no joke just to throw that out. Anyway another point that it wasnt suicide is the post mordem stab wound to the head. Contradicting in many ways the theory of suicide. Whoever came up with that theory needs to be thoroughly investigated. Only the real unsub would want to dismiss something like that. The 20 stabs shows aggression towards the victim. Maybe someone tried to ask her out and she declined. Or maybe she rubbed someone the wrong way. My theory is that the result of the stab wounds came from someone she most likely knew. Maybe a little or a close friend. Maybe a family memeber or even her husband. I can go on with this

If there was blood dripping down the side of her head as if she was lying on her side at one point she was most likely lying on her left side because from the description it says
“eleven bruises noted that were in various stages of resolution found on her right arm, abdomen and her right leg.”
so if she was on her side it would make sense if the bruises were on the right side if she was lying on her left.

Also whoever decided to rule this case out as a suicide needs to rethink this severely or needs to personally solve this case. It is near impossible to stab your back yourself and by the time she had stabbed her back she would have been dead meaning that she couldn’t have lodged the 10-inch blade to her chest, and if she stabbed herself with the blade to the chest first she would have been dead before she could have stabbed the back of her head.

I think that this was not a suicide and that the way she was stabbed was personal or it was someone who had some sort of hatred for her.

This is just what I think I am in no way a medical professional or anything like that I am just trying to help these people and her family and I hope I made some sense about this case to anyone

someone who is a professional please check this out and some of the info from the article can be posted on her case

@Lilia - I did see just recently that a court just ruled that a former Philadelphia prosecutor can testify in the Greenberg family’s case on the investigation into their daughter’s death. He told NBC10 her death may not have been suicide. So hopefully this goes somewhere!

It can be. Especially when you take into the possibility thst he was having an affair the whole time. That in itself. Is motive and opportunity. I find it rather strange he would do that. He is to be investigated along with his new wife. Its almost like he didnt feel as bad as one might of benn led to believe. Which also strikes curiosity

The husband should have been looked into more. These types of injuries could not possibly be self-inflicted and the amount of force they would require and the positioning of the wounds doesn’t add up to suicide.

I found these clips from that day…thoughts?

I agree
This will need to be added

From what I’ve read and seen, it’s clear that not much detail was put into investigating Samuel Goldberg. The fact that Ellen’s death was initially ruled a homicide and then controversially changed to a suicide is bullshit. If someone wanted to end their own life, it’s hard to imagine they’d have the time or ability to stab themselves 20 times. That just doesn’t add up. Goldberg claims he was at the gym during the incident, but was there any surveillance footage to confirm his alibi? Did anyone verify his presence there? The nature of the homicide suggests it was driven by rage or anger, not premeditated. If it wasn’t planned, it seems like the killer was rushing. But why Ellen? Did she have any unresolved conflicts, grudges, or enemies, perhaps an ex, a friend, or someone else?

What’s the killer’s MO? That’s the big question, right? Twenty stab wounds?!?!? this wasn’t just about killing someone, This was personal, emotional and full of rage. It’s not the kind of thing you do if you’re calm or calculated. So what could they have possibly wanted from Ellen? What happened in that moment? Was it something she said, something she did, or something she represented to the killer? We need to think like them. If I’m the killer what’s my motive? Why would I do this? Was it jealousy, betrayal, revenge? Or was it something completely irrational, like a sudden snap or a deep seated grudge? And why Ellen? Out of all people, why her? Did she know something she wasn’t supposed to? Did she have a connection to someone who wanted her gone? Or was it just a tragic case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time, god bless her family, praying for them!
