Is law enforcement sure the final text msg. was sent by her? Is it possible or probable it was sent to buy time?
Did the person last seen with her have a previous relationship or knowledge of who she was? Why would you leave a young lady who appeared to be suffering from some type of distress (according to report details) to go check on horses leaving her alone in your home?
Did she have a history of running away or leaving for multiple days or was she a responsible person with a normal relationship with family.
Why contact her ex bf was their breakup a surprise had she recently met someone new?
How would the guys seen with her last react to being rejected if they had tried to flirt or hit on her? When the person left was she relaxed and calm enough to remove her own shoes? Was there any type of accelerant found on the couch causing the fire, if someone started a fire would they then remove their shoes then leave their other personal items behind. How far could a barefoot young lady run before her feet got to a point she couldnt run any farther? Why was the item that was set on fire? It does destroy biological evidence (just a thought not making accusations).
I thought the same thing about it possibly not being her who sent the very last text message. Why would she text her ex-boyfriend to hurry up to come get her because she was scared and then suddenly change her mind because she’s heading to another party? Who goes to a party at 5:30am? I’d love to know more details about the man she was staying with. There are so many red flags.
i actually found some information on the man she was staying with. his name is josh hensley (joshua) he was arrested in 2020 for having child p on his computer. he was never deemed a suspect unfortunately, but brooke’s mother said in an interview that she has questions for him. firefighters said that the house fire was ‘suspicious’ and started from the couch and burned through the floor. i’m thinking josh may have burned it himself in a cover-up. sorry if you knew any of that, but that’s as much as i’ve found up to now on josh.
also, a big mention is that brooke’s phone was also missing, and pinged 2 days later at a tower in blue lick, which is 10 minutes (about 30 miles) from joshua’s house.
