Armani’s mother and I greatly appreciate Robin Warder’s kindness, patience, understanding, passion and personal time that went into shedding light on Armani’s story involving his unsolved murder. Robin Warder and I met 7 months ago while attending AdvocacyCon 2025, I am extremely grateful for another powerful voice for the voiceless.
Last month for the second time over the past 5 years I suffered abuse of power at the hands of yet another Dallas Homicide supervisor while pursuing justice for my nephew Armani.
In that moment I was revictimized and treated as though I was a common criminal by this particular Dallas Homicide supervisory officer, which it totally unacceptable on all levels.
This particular Dallas Homicide supervisory officer became extremely disrespectful towards me exhibiting unprofessional behavior, yelling at me in an aggressive tone of voice simply because he could not pressure me into foregoing my Sept. 30, 2025 prescheduled meeting at Dallas Police Headquarters with one of DPD’s many Deputy Chief’s and current DPD homicide detective regarding the opportunity for me to address my immediate concerns about the status of Armani’s unsolved murder, this particular in-person meeting would’ve also included the opportunity for me to ask direct questions about Armani’s unsolved murder investigation and most importantly I was promised the opportunity to review Armani’s entire case files during this particular meeting at Dallas Police Headquarters before this particular Dallas Homicide supervisory officer overstepped his authority unilaterally taking it upon himself to cancel my prescheduled Sept. 30, 2025 in-person meeting at Dallas Police Headquarters ultimately obstructing my right to review Armani’s entire case files while pursuing justice on behalf of my nephew Armani after 8 years have now gone by.
As direct result of this particular Dallas Homicide supervisory officer’s unethical behavior I was left with no choice but to file yet another formal Citizens Complaint with Dallas Police Internal Affairs Division due to this systematic abuse of power at the hands of DPD homicide supervisory officers, while pursuing justice for my nephew Armani.
Our family nor any other victims’ family deserves this type of mistreatment and unethical behavior from law enforcement involving abuse of power from law enforcement who took an oath to protect and serve not only that “why” revictimize grieving family members who simply want justice for their murdered loved ones?
To any and all victims’ family members reading this message “never give-up” fighting for justice on behalf of your murdered and missing loved ones “no matter what” comes your way!
